-The major objectives were to evaluate the RUCS against the baseline technology in several areas including: -Cost effectiveness -Ability to provide a safer working environment -Enhanced capability -Limitations -To access the benefits that may be derived from using RUCS in a nuclear Facility to perform underwater visual and radiological characterization.

The RUCS is a mature technology that performed very well during the INEEL demonstration, and as a direct result, has since been deployed in various D&D operations. There are some very minor improvements that could be made to enhance its operation and effectiveness.
